Plus, there couldn’t be a higher competition like the one in the Best Female Video category where internationally-reckoned clips like “Single Ladies” (Beyonce), “Hot n Cold” (Katy Perry), “Poker Face” (Lady Gaga), “So What” (Pink), “My Life Would Suck Without You” (Kelly Clarkson) and You Belong With Me (Taylor Swift) have already gained so much popularity among the fans and all deserve the title. As for the Best Male Category crowded with top-performers such as Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West, just to mention a few, we simply let you be the judge.

Unfortunately, one of our favorite pop-rock bands, the Jonas Brothers will reportedly miss the show since they have all these appointments as a result of touring and promoting their latest and fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

Emily Osment, the actress who portrays Lilly Truscott in the Disney Chanel hit TV series Hannah Montana has launched the first single on her debut album, entitled “All the Way Up” on Radio Disney. In addition, the video of the song has recently hit the market. As it appears, the 17-year-old actress followed the example given by her co-stars in the Hannah Montana series, Miley Cyrus and Mitchel Musso and started a music career that goes hand in hand with her acting performances. However, this song is not Emily’s first attempt to extend her field of interest and to join the stars in the music industry as she recorded three other songs like “I Don’t Think About It”, “If I Didn’t Have You” and Once Upon A Dream” alongside her colleague, Mitchel Musso.

Emily’s passion for music started in childhood, as she has confessed in a recent interview: “I have been playing guitar and writing songs since I was little so it seems like this album has been in process for years!”. As for her debut album, it is set to be released in March, 2010. Until then, you can take a glance at the video and listen to this new tune which received commendation from the critics. The second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon is set to be released in mid-November. However, you have currently the possibility to take a short glimpse at a second official trailer of this exciting vampire-flick featuring a beautiful love story between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattison) provided you are agog to see the path the characters take and also the obstacles that prevent Bella and Edward rejoice the strong feelings they have for each other. Here’s what she has recently posted on Twitter after meeting Robert at the Teen Choice Awards: “I hugged Rob Pattinson today. OK girls, now I get it. He is really cool. Sorry for what I said in the past Rob. (Referring to a previous comment she made for Vogue magazine stating Robert fans are attracted to the character he portrays and not by him.)”

Reportedly, Chace Crawford, the Gossip Girl heartthrob and the winner of the Best Actor board-shaped prize and Ashley Green also awarded with the Best New Actress prize for her role in the Twilight saga, were snapped locking lips after the show. More precisely, several sources claim the two celebrities were spotted in the same limousine heading to the LA airport and shared a long kiss when saying goodbye. Then, Ashley took the plane to Vancouver for the filming of Eclipse, a new sequel of the vampire-series. The stars were often seen together, but they claimed they are simply good friends. Still, in a recent interview Chace stated he likes to know better a girl before starting dating: “I try to get to know the girls I’m attracted to without having an official ‘date,’” Crawford said. “I keep it light, become their best friend and hold off on the romance. If you’re friends first, the rest of it happens more naturally.”

The rumor of Chace and Ashley forming a couple began swirling after the photos of them kissing were made public; however, none of them has confirmed this news yet. Chace Crawford was formerly involved in a relationship with American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, but they called it quits for quite some time now.

While Ashley is in Canada filming scenes for Eclipse, Chace is getting ready for his role as Ren McCormack in the 80’s musical remake Footloose. According to the actor, learning dance steps is quite intense and requires a lot of training: “It’s been intense. It’s not the gymnastics stuff so much. I have a bit of athleticism so they’re letting me see what takes shape and create something original.”

The highly-anticipated summer event, Teen Choice Awards was held last night at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. As expected, it was star-studded and among the celebrities that hit the red carpet were the Black Eyed Peas, Gossip Girl’s heartthrob Chace Crawford, Hayden Panettiere, Brenda Song, Britney Spears, Twilight cast members, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers who were both hosts and performers.

As predicted, the winner of the night was the vampire-movie Twilight which managed to gather no less than 11 awards ranging from choice movie drama, romance to kiss, rumble and soundtrack. Moreover, Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison forming one the hottest onscreen couples both grabbed individual awards. Kristen was awarded as the movie drama actress and Robert took home two-surfboard shaped awards, one for movie drama actor, another for male hottie. Ashley Green and Taylor Lautner picked awards for female and male fresh faces on screen whereas Teen Choice Movie’s Villain was Cam Gigandet.

Miley Cyrus also received a great number of awards as the winner at the following categories:  TV Show Comedy and TV Actress Comedy for Hannah Montana, Movie Actress Music/Dance for Hannah Montana: The Movie, Music Single with “The Climb” and summer hit and duet with the Jonas Brothers.

Coming in as no surprise, the Jonas Brothers left the ceremony with five trophies, comprising the Choice Male Red Carpet Icons category. The pop-rock band, Miley Cyrus, Black Eyed Peas were also among the stars that performed and ensured a spectacular atmosphere for the fans.

The CW drama couldn’t miss the list of winners, therefore, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick snagged the following awards: TV Drama Actor, Actress and Villain.

Even though it is set to be released only in 2010, the third sequel in the vampire-series, Eclipse has already made some headlines. Since the shootings are just at the beginning, most of the news focus on the cast of this movie which has pretty good chances of becoming a hit both at the Box-Office and among the fans given the great success the previous installments rejoiced. And the newest actress to be casted a role in Eclipse is the 14-year-old Jordelle Ferland.

According to multiple sources, the young actress will portray Bree, a vampire that has just been created by another one. Jordelle Ferland rose to prominence due to multiple scary roles in dramas and she received the Young Artist Award for her performance on the big screen. Aside from the critical acclaim she got for her roles in Silent Hill and Terry Gilliam’s Tideland, Jordelle was the youngest Emmy nominee of all times as well. Taking into account the previous roles she interpreted, this new Eclipse part seems to fit her like a glove, isn’t it? The actress, born in Canada was very happy after landing the part. Here’s what she posted on Twitter: “Oh by the way, the secret that I told everybody about yesterday is now all over the web so I may as well say it. I’m going to be in Eclipse! “In all the excitement of finally being allowed to say I’m in Eclipse, I forgot to have breakfast!”

As for the other cast members of Eclipse, Rachelle Lefevre who portrayed Victoria, an evil vampire was replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard in the following Twilight sequel because the actress took a role in the movie “Barney’s Version” and the schedule of this movie overlapped the one corresponding to the filming for Eclipse. Rachelle’s fan were deeply saddened and even stated the movie will not have the same impact as the rest of the sequels because of the multiple changes made by the Summit Entertainment, the studio producing this series.

However, their kiss is just a love scene shot on the set of a new romantic comedy, Valentine’s Day, scheduled to be released on February, 2010. This flick, directed by Gary Marshal is said to have a star-studded cast with A-list actors such as Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Carter Jenkins, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Emma Roberts and Julia Roberts playing parts and spicing up the action.

As for the plot of this new movie, it reportedly focuses on five interrelated love stories set in Los Angeles on Valentine’s Day. While Lautner has already played in the vampire flick, this is Talyor’s second movie experience, after having made an appearance in the Hannah Montana the Movie.

Even though the kiss they shared was quite passionate, giving rise to certain rumors, neither Taylor Swift nor his co-star Taylor Lautner confirmed a possible love affair. Still, some sources revealed the songstress looked quite happy after the filming of the movie ended and was in for a gymnastic session featuring even a cartwheel and a back flip. Good news, Posh Girls! Joe Jonas is back on the dating market! According to multiple sources, the 19-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers pop-rock band and his girlfriend actress Camille Belle, have recently split up. Indeed, this is not just a swirling rumor, but an official news, as Belle’s rep confirmed for various publications: “”Yes, it’s true. Joe and Camilla have broken up. There is no third party involved and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends.”

Reportedly, Joe Jonas was the one to give a hint to the press about the end of his relationship with the 22-year-old actress last night, during the band’s concert in Detroit when he changed the lyrics of the song “Much Better” from “Get a rep for breakin’ hearts, now I’m done with superstars” to “Get a rep for breakin hearts, now I’m done with movie stars.” The speculations began soon after as Joe Jonas did the same thing when broking up with country singer Taylor Swift, at that time replacing part of the line with “now I’m done with country stars”.

In spite of all, the news came out as a surprise, as the couple was recently spotted together in Sterling, Virginia where the Jonas Brother organized a charitable event destined to raise some funds for the foundation Change for Children. Plus, they have been an item since last year, in November and began dating soon after Joe and Taylor Swift called it quits. At that time, there were some rumors about Joe leaving Taylor for Camille. The series of charitable events initiated by the Jonas Brothers continues. After last week, in Sterling, Virginia, when the Jonas Brothers were all dressed up in baseball suits and winning a match against the staff of AOL’s corporate which brought their charitable foundation Change for Children a check of $2,900, a few days ago the pop-rock band’s members gathered again for a noble cause. This time, however, all eyes were on the newly engaged couple Kevin and Danielle Deleasa. The couple donned some funny t-shirts that got everyone’s attention because clearly confirmed their love and engagement. While on Kevin’s was printed his name, on Danielle’s back side of the t-shirt was marked Ms. Kevin Jonas II.

The event took place at the Capanelli Stadium in Brockton, Massachusetts, right after the band performed a great concert in Boston. Unfortunately, the boy’s team didn’t manage to play softball as well as their opponents the Jets Marquis did and lost the game with a score of 12 to 15. The good news is Jet Marquis made an important contribution to the foundation so everything turned out to be just fine.

All in all, we give thumbs up the Jonas Brothers for their initiative to do something for the less fortunate and we hope other stars will follow their example.

After the 20-year-old R&B singer, Chris Brown took full responsibility for his actions and pleaded guilty in front of the court for felony assault on his then-girlfriend, Rihanna, on Monday the singer released a video featuring a public apology for the same incident that took place in February, before the Grammy Awards.

In the video, Chris Brown asks his fans for forgiveness, admitting his actions were “100% unacceptable”. The singer states he wanted to publicly express his deeply regret and apologies for assaulting Rihanna, but that his attorney recommended him not to do so. Involved in a legal trial for domestic violence, Chris Brown’s most probable sentence will be of five years’ probation including 180 hours of community labor he will do in the state of Virginia. Moreover, during his probation, Chris has to obey a stay-away order from Rihanna, meaning he is not allowed to get closer than 50 yards to the Take a Bow songstress.

As for the two-minute video, it made some headlines with his critics claiming the singer’s speech is rehearsed. Other critics, even harsher said he was either reading cue cards or using a teleprompter. After having analyzed the video in detail their strongest argument in favor of this hypothesis is the fact that the singer doesn’t look up straight to the camera.
