Hey, Posh Girls! In today’s article, we’re raising the curtain on the long-awaited, red-carpet event of the fall: the MTV Music Awards which is set to take place on September, 13 at 9 p.m in New York. As the last year’s edition, it will be hosted by Russell Brand and some famous live performers like Lady Gaga, Beyonce and hubby Jay-Z, Green Day, Pink, Taylor Swift and Muse will go on stage to ensure a super-hot, electric atmosphere.

Aside from the hits that you’ll be able to listen live and the parade of crazy, outstanding costumes of these top artists, the MTV Video Awards will also honor the artists nominated at the following main categories: Best Female Video, Video of the Year, Best Hip Hop-Video, Best Pop Video, Best Rock-Video and Best Breakthrough Video.  Now, while the votes for all these categories have already been closed, you still have the chance to cast one for the Best New Artist category which has Lady Gaga (”Poker Face”), Drake (”Best I Ever Had”), Asher Roth (”I Love College”) and 3OH!3 (”Don’t Trust Me”) competing for a statue. Plus, there couldn’t be a higher competition like the one in the Best Female Video category where internationally-reckoned clips like “Single Ladies” (Beyonce), “Hot n Cold” (Katy Perry), “Poker Face” (Lady Gaga), “So What” (Pink), “My Life Would Suck Without You” (Kelly Clarkson) and You Belong With Me (Taylor Swift) have already gained so much popularity among the fans and all deserve the title. As for the Best Male Category crowded with top-performers such as Jay-Z, Ne-Yo and Kanye West, just to mention a few, we simply let you be the judge.

Unfortunately, one of our favorite pop-rock bands, the Jonas Brothers will reportedly miss the show since they have all these appointments as a result of touring and promoting their latest and fourth studio album, Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

The second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon is set to be released in mid-November. As for Robert Pattison, he seems to gain every girl’s sympathy even Miley Cyrus’s who has recently admitted his cuteness. Here’s what she has recently posted on Twitter after meeting Robert at the Teen Choice Awards: “I hugged Rob Pattinson today. OK girls, now I get it. He is really cool. Sorry for what I said in the past Rob. (Referring to a previous comment she made for Vogue magazine stating Robert fans are attracted to the character he portrays and not by him.)”

The highly-anticipated summer event, Teen Choice Awards was held last night at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City. As expected, it was star-studded and among the celebrities that hit the red carpet were the Black Eyed Peas, Gossip Girl’s heartthrob Chace Crawford, Hayden Panettiere, Brenda Song, Britney Spears, Twilight cast members, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers who were both hosts and performers.

As predicted, the winner of the night was the vampire-movie Twilight which managed to gather no less than 11 awards ranging from choice movie drama, romance to kiss, rumble and soundtrack. Moreover, Twilight stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison forming one the hottest onscreen couples both grabbed individual awards. Kristen was awarded as the movie drama actress and Robert took home two-surfboard shaped awards, one for movie drama actor, another for male hottie. Ashley Green and Taylor Lautner picked awards for female and male fresh faces on screen whereas Teen Choice Movie’s Villain was Cam Gigandet.

Miley Cyrus also received a great number of awards as the winner at the following categories:  TV Show Comedy and TV Actress Comedy for Hannah Montana, Movie Actress Music/Dance for Hannah Montana: The Movie, Music Single with “The Climb” and summer hit and duet with the Jonas Brothers.

Coming in as no surprise, the Jonas Brothers left the ceremony with five trophies, comprising the Choice Male Red Carpet Icons category. The pop-rock band, Miley Cyrus, Black Eyed Peas were also among the stars that performed and ensured a spectacular atmosphere for the fans.

The CW drama couldn’t miss the list of winners, therefore, Chace Crawford, Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick snagged the following awards: TV Drama Actor, Actress and Villain.

Time is running out and there is less than a month left until one of the biggest events of the summer, Teen Choice Awards, takes place. As for the new category that has been added up, the nominations were snagged by the following artists: Jonas Brothers with Miley Cyrus (Before The Storm), Sean Kingston (Fire Burning) The Black Eyed Peas (I Gotta Feeling), Pitbull Knock (I Know You Want Me), Keri Hilson with Kanye West and Neyo (You Down).

So make sure you mark on your calendar the date when the event is going to be held because it will definitely be fun and star-studded.

In the latest number of People magazine, Chace Crawford, the actor portraying Nate Archibald in the CW hit series Gossip Girl is named the most handsome bachelor of the season. Due to the role in this teen drama, the actor gained not only popularity on the Hollywood scene, but also many teenagers’ hearts. As for his acting career, the heartthrob has officially accepted the leading role in a remake of the successful 80’s Footloose.

When it comes to his love life, the 23-year-old actor confessed he is not in a hurry to start a relationship because his is aware of the fact that he has many years in the future to dedicate to the one that will be his better half. For those of you who didn’t know, the actor and country singer, Carrie Underwood used to be an item, but they broke up for quite some time. Asked about their romance, Chace stated: “I have nothing bad to say about that experience. It was awesome. I just didn’t know how to deal with it. I learned a ton about dating someone in that kind of spotlight. It was such a whirlwind, but no regrets.”

However, rumors have been swirling recently about a romance between Chace and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Esti Ginzburg, but neither the actor nor his supposed girlfriend confirmed the news. Among other hunks to “compete” with Chace for this title were Zac Efron, Robert Pattison and Bradley Cooper. So what to you think about People’s choice? The pollution of the Earth is a highly debated topic that concerns not only green associations, but every citizen of the Blue Planet. For example, the Disney stars Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato are the promoters of a new campaign destined to reduce the pollution of the environment and to save the energy.

This campaign launched by the Disney Channel is entitled Friends For Change and its slogan sounds like this: “Switch It, Pooll it and Unplug it!” which emphasizes different ways in which all of us can protect the environment by simple, yet significant gestures like switching off the light when we leave our home, grabbing a friend with our car or unplugging the mobile battery recharger.

Apart from this campaign, Demi Lovato portrays Princess Rosalinda in the Disney series Princess Protection Program alongside her best friend Selena Gomez. As for her new music album, Here We Go Again, it is scheduled to be released on July 21. As far as the Jonas Brothers are concerned, they are currently on tour promoting their fourth studio album Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

The aforementioned green campaign is strongly popularized through other commercials starring the entire Disney crew: Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Brenda Song, Chelsea Staub, Mitchel Musso and Emily Osmet.

All in all, we give Disney hats off for this campaign and for investing around $1 million for the health of our planet. Plus, we highly appreciate the Disney stars’ commitment to this project and we truly hope it can make a difference for our global home.

The thrill-seekers wizards Harry Potter, Hermione and Ron Weasley continue to use their magic wands and cast spells in the sixth sequel of the worldly famous Harry Potter series, entitled Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. The series featuring a mixture of fantasy and adventure that has gained the hearts of both adults and children everywhere continues with this brand new film that premiered last week in London, Leicester Square.

More precisely, the actors Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint staring in the movie and playing the main characters were the ones to present this long-awaited sequel. Even though Rupert has recently recovered from swine flu, he was all smiles and friendly at the event. J.R Rowling, the author that wrote all the books portraying Harry Potter hit the red carpet as well. Not to mention the excited crowd of fans that gathered in Leicester Square to watch the official screening, in spite of the fact that outside was raining cats and dogs. In addition, some of them were carrying placards reading “Harry, I’ll be Your Chosen One” and “Britain Loves J.K. Rowling” emphasizing their admiration for both the actors and the British author. Tom Felton, the actor portraying Draco Malfoy was highly surprised by their fans’ commitment stating: “I can’t believe the dedication of the fans”.

The lively characters in the Ice Age easy-going, animated series won us over with their cuteness, humor, clumsiness and funny adventures. Now I’m sure all of you posh girls are huge fans of Scrat (voiced by Chris Wedge), the squirrel constantly tracking tasty acorns, Sid, the left-handed sloth (John Leguizamo), Manny the mammoth (Ray Romano) or Diego, the smilodon (Denis Leary).

Well, here’s some good news: the Ice Age third sequel, entitled The Dawn Of the Dinosaurs hit the big screen at the beginning of the month and these funny prehistoric characters are back for more, finding themselves facing new, amusing adventures and playing their typical pranks.

More precisely, they discover a new, changing world crowded with…dinosaurs! And the movie gets even more capturing with Manny ready to start a family, a desperate Diego as he might lose one of his saber teeth, Sid determined to take care of three, hungry baby dinosaurs and Scrat fighting over an acorn (of course!) with his crush Scrate, a beautiful saber-toothed squirrel. The starting-point of the entire fun-filled adventure is the moment when clumsy Sid steals a dinosaur’s eggs with everything subsequently getting upside down..

We won’t spoil the surprise by telling you the thread of the story, but the movie is definitely more fun than a barrel of monkeys.
